The People We Were Packaging
One fall day, our client Flannel Graph (a folk songwriter/singer/musician duo) reached out to us. As with their other studio albums, FG wanted to hire us to design the music packaging (digital, physical, & vinyl), create promotional graphics, and design a full line of merchandise to sell on tour.

Filled with nostalgia, our design team set out to design Flannel Graph's Third EP, The People We Were,
which stems from a hankering to travel back to the bandmates’ younger years by way of VHS and cassette recordings.
As we listened to the album, still in scratch-track format,
we were inspired to use a retro/minimal approach.
Hero Images of
a tiger and (panda) bear toy collectibles, balanced by small copy blocks were the chosen cover graphics. Paired with awesome photoshoot images of the musicians in tiger and panda onesies running down a childhood block.
Packaging
Flannel Graph consists of songwriter/singer/musician Shayla Smith and the harmonies and guitar skills of Leon Gregory, both from Kalispell, Montana. With melodies, they tell the stories of adventure, fear, trail, love, childhood, and growth.
